Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle

My friend, Sara, wrote an article for Obscured for which I took the photos. It's about Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle, one of the cooler places on this island, imo. I must admit that they're not my best photos but at least now I know this style probably isn't for me. Either that, or I have to give it a few more chances and work on it. Anyway, please check out the article here!

And here are some photos that weren't shortlisted for the article.

Strangers I Know (A collaboration of sorts)

Strangers I Know is a project that a friend of mine started. Her name is Zoe. Zoe and I have been in the same schools (in secondary school and now, polytechnic) for the last 6 years. This is the seventh year. We seldom talk except every now and then to make sure we're both still alive and coping with both school and an extremely packed planner (her planner's definitely more packed than mine though). So it was a pleasant surprise when she asked me to contribute to the Strangers from Korea series.

Basically, the project is about strangers telling stories about the strangers in the photos and the possibility of them all being connected. So each photo is like a chapter and these chapters come together to form a larger picture of how all these strangers are connected.

And if you think about it, each chapter is written by a different person who's essentially a stranger to another writer. And all of us (writers/strangers) are connected through this project. So, in some weird way, Strangers I Know is kind of spot on with the title.

Anyway, I wrote a story for Stranger #66. It's the third in the series. Read them all!

The rest are to be posted.

I hope you enjoy the stories! The Continue My Story function on the website is yet to go up so if you'd like to contribute to this project by writing a story, contact Zoe on Facebook.
The process will pretty much be something like this (I think):
1. Contact Zoe
2. Arrange details
3. Zoe sends you image
4. You write story
5. Send back to Zoe for vetting

Thanks for asking me to do this Zoe!
