Undies all day, errday : part III : Water Fun

I couldn't decide if I wanted to post all the film photos together, or to separate the Adventure Cove images from the pool images. But I decided to post them all together. The pool was brilliant. It was for everyone from that hotel, but no one uses the pool so it's essentially a giant private pool. And Adventure Cove was pretty fun so, no complaints. Except for the group of guys that were making a lot of noise. But it's all cool.

Undies all day, errday : part II : Bubble Baths

We did a lot of stuff. Mostly in the tub of the hotel actually. It’s odd, I know. But when you have a toilet like the one we had, you’d probably do the same. I’m just really thankful I have friends who so openly do things like that with me. Here’s a gif of some of the images I took. Not going to post them individually here because well, let’s just say, I want to keep this place as child friendly as possible.

Water Adventures and Staying in Singapore II

Rooftop Climbing

We went to shoot. It was fun. And tiring. Except for the fact that my lomochrome film wasn't loaded properly so I may or may not even get 10 shots ): But it's been a good day nonetheless. Maybe it's a sign I should stick to instant photography. HAHAHA anywayyyy, I'm quite excited for tomorrow because it's sports day in the kindergarten! It's a bit sad that I won't be seeing them much after this but at least I was with them for an entire term (10 weeks or so?). I hope they go out and live. I have high expectations of some of them.

OKAY, enough babbling. Here are the photos taken today (the girls have been whispering on social media to bug me to upload the scans so here they are). I'm honestly quite amazed that I shot and scanned everything all in one day. All my dad could comment on was "where is this", "you all allowed there ah" and "safe or not". hahaha That's my dad for all of you. I apologise for the odd scans because it doesn't seem to work well on photos with white borders.

Star Wars

Vivien graciously let me be her assistant for her shoot again and so I got to witness a Star Wars photo shoot live. It was nothing short of cool. The studio we worked in was The Pond, and there was a photographer working with kids doing some stuff there so there were props everywhere. Of course, I couldn't keep away much from the giant teddy bear.

Okay, so because I wasn't the photographer, and because I was holding the styrofoam reflector thing, I only had one hand to shoot using my phone. Nonetheless, I really like the lighting for this shoot.

At the end of the entire shoot, we had about 5 minutes to do weird stuff so this happened.

This Tie Fighter Pilot looked the most menacing but without that mask on, he was the most soft spoken dude I've ever met. And his Star Wars figurine collection is mind blowing. There was this exhibition at the Singapore Philatelic Museum last year. Apparently, majority of the 800 figurines were from his collection. And that wasn't even his entire collection. My brother has a long way to go before his collection gets anywhere near that scale.

That (image above) is definitely the best polaroid I've ever taken (though I'm only using my second box of film). It's a bit brighter in this photo than it is in real life. It's a (not that) long exposure taken with the flashes' modelling light at its brightest and the 3 characters moving. The poor storm trooper couldn't move around much (he couldn't even sit) because of all that plastic on him.

Adventure to Nowhere

Today's adventure was really to nowhere. The place we went to had no name, no sign and no entrance (unfortunately). We concluded from what we saw through the grilled windows that it would make an amazing photo shoot location as well as a brilliant exhibition space. It's a pity we can't go in. Either way, here are the photos. I'm loving them. (These are just photos of the photos. Perhaps the scans will come another day. But I sincerely doubt I will actually get to scanning them). The colours are much better in person, I promise.
