As you can see from the photo, I've been to this year's Night Festival! I thought this year's is more interesting that last year's. And there's a greater variety of events too. I couldn't decide which camera to bring so I ended bringing the instax. From that night, I learnt:
- When shooting outdoors at night, make sure the object you're shooting is relatively near. Anything more than a metre away probably won't turn up on the film.
- Keep trying even if your images are all coming out too underexposed. It pays off after a while.Yepp, as with the second point, it may burn your pocket a bit (okay, a lot) but it's totally worth it. These are some of the shots that were taken on Saturday.
And of course, one of the highlights of the night was getting my very first polaroid photo. I guess it's not entirely a legit polaroid because it was originally a digital image taken with Em's iPhone. But still, to be able to hold the image and stick it on my wall is a pretty cool.
Presenting, the polaroid.
