Night Festival 2013

As you can see from the photo, I've been to this year's Night Festival! I thought this year's is more interesting that last year's. And there's a greater variety of events too. I couldn't decide which camera to bring so I ended bringing the instax. From that night, I learnt:
- When shooting outdoors at night, make sure the object you're shooting is relatively near. Anything more than a metre away probably won't turn up on the film.
- Keep trying even if your images are all coming out too underexposed. It pays off after a while.
Yepp, as with the second point, it may burn your pocket a bit (okay, a lot) but it's totally worth it. These are some of the shots that were taken on Saturday.

I really like the last two images. The first one is a wall along Armenian Street and the second one is a statue outside the Peranakan Museum.

And of course, one of the highlights of the night was getting my very first polaroid photo. I guess it's not entirely a legit polaroid because it was originally a digital image taken with Em's iPhone. But still, to be able to hold the image and stick it on my wall is a pretty cool.

Presenting, the polaroid.
